Journey to the West
That’s me on the right. In ’79, my parents fled Vietnam by boat, passed through a refugee camp in Singapore, and eventually started over in the West—where I was born. No money, no roadmap: just hustle and heart. It wasn’t glamorous, it was survival. The grit, the resilience, the journey that brought us here—that’s the spark that ignited 12AM.

Welcome to Toko 12AM
A corner of the internet where creativity meets culture. Is 12AM a webshop? A brand? We don’t care much for labels. It’s a T-shirt toko. A bootleg DVD stall. A late-night kitchen you stumble upon through a back-alley shortcut.
We cook up bold, offbeat mash-ups of pop culture and streetwear. Some pieces are time capsules. Others, heartfelt tributes. And sometimes, they’re just here to to make you smile. Rough around the edges, but that’s where the good stuff happens.
It’s like pulling up a low plastic stool at a roadside stall in Saigon—under a flickering streetlight, chopsticks in hand, scooters buzzing past, and a bowl of something hot, humble, and unforgettable in front of you. You don’t go for the ambiance. You go because it’s real. Because it hits different. -

Made After Hours
12AM, short for 12inthemorning, started like all the best stories: late at night, fueled by ideas and the urge to make something different. What began as a side project became a playground for storytelling and design.
We grew up between East and West—never fully here, never fully there. 12AM lives in that in-between: on the edge of heritage and reinvention. We take what’s passed down, flip it, and push it forward.
It’s about the everyday pursuit—those quiet hours after the world clocks out, when you finally get space to build what actually matters. We’ve always felt boxed in by traditional design and corporate rules. 12AM is counterculture: a space to create without permission. A wake-up call to the creatives, the dreamers, and the misfits—to be yourself, unapologetically.
